dog fouling is a menace: Help us stamp it out!

The Parish Council have recently installed dog waste bins in Churchinford (and pay for them to be regularly emptied) yet they are clearly not being used by all dog owners.  This is deeply frustrating.

The Parish Council are now taking steps to have the whole of Churchinford designated under a "Dog Control Order" - so that repeat offenders can be prosecuted (issued fixed penalties or fined up to £1,000).  In the mean time, we urgently need residents to report known offenders so that we can take appropriate action to try and stop this problem from happening.

Any details provided will be treated conscientiously and confidentially - you may report anonymously if you wish.

For us to take effective action, we need you to provide details of any known offender (i.e. someone you know allows their dog to foul the area regularly).  This reporting tool is NOT provided to highlight an individual dog-mess incident (although you can report fouling through "fix my street" (details are also provided on this page).

To help us address this problem provide any details that you are able...

    Report an offender

NB: By providing your name and / or contact details you are consenting for us to get in touch about this matter.
If you have knowledge of an offence or a repeat dog fouling offender please give as much information as you can here. If provided, your details will be held in the strictest confidence - however please rest assured that we will take appropriate action (where empowered to do so) to address the problem.
    Max file size: 20MB
If you wish to send evidence of an offence / incident please upload a photo here. This is not compulsory but may help build a case against a repeat offender.
Report now!

Report A TURD... (Amongst other issues!)

If you need to report a specific mess or other 'steaming incident' please use the Fix My Street web-app.

FixMyStreet is primarily for reporting things which are broken, dirty, damaged or dumped, and need fixing, cleaning or clearing.

So, as well as dog fouling incidents, you can use this tool to report issues like fly-tipping, highway damage, faulty street lights, etc... The site is operated by the charity "mySociety" (not CPC!) and quickly reports issues to the relevant Council departments on your behalf (you can even opt to receive email updates to keep you in the loop!).

Further more you can see other issues that have been reported - and add comments on any unresolved items...

Again, if you can point us towards someone that you know is a persistent poo'petrator please use the "report an offender" form and we will do what we can to address it!

Thanks!
