Update on Highway Works in Somerset West and Taunton Area, Week Commencing 5th of August. 
I am writing to update you on the latest progress of SCC highway works in the Somerset West and Taunton Area, for the week commencing the 5th of August. 
I attach the current programme of works. Works highlighted in red are either new works or existing works that have been reprogrammed.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC RIGHTS AND PUBLICATION OF UNAUDITED ANNUAL GOVERNANCE & ACCOUNTABILITY RETURN

ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2019

The Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/234)

TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Hunters Lodge Road from the junction with Taunton Road, eastwards for a distance of 300 metres.

This order will enable BT Openreach to replace Poles in this road.

​The Order becomes effective on 31 July 2018 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last for 1 day. While the closure is in operation an alternative route will be signed as detailed below.
